Anslom is a very popular Melanesian reggae singer who has worked with Lucky Dube and releases on the Mangrove label out of Noumea. Here for a Bit na Ta, Anslom delves into the singsing tumbuna style of his ancestors. Ansolm is based in Matupit. His uncle Gideon Nakikus sang Lapun Man on the Not Drowning, Waving album Tabaran. His other uncle, Matalau Nakikus, is a founding member of the famous Rabaul band Barike.
